Ultrasonic flow transducers with piezoelectric transducers installed perform the function of primary liquid flow transducers for ultrasonic flowmeters and are mounted in controlled pipelines. Ultrasonic flow transducers are supplied only with plug-in piezoelectric transducers.

Piezoelectric transducers are designed to generate an electrical signal when an ultrasonic pulse is applied to them. They are mounted in ultrasonic flow transducers (mounted measuring sections or existing pipelines).
